The challenge was designed to position Pittsfield Township as the first community in Southeast Michigan to acquire most of its energy from renewable resources. Nearly 600 Pittsfield Township residents enrolled in DTE’s MIGreenPower program since April, when the township rolled out a challenge to encourage its residents to sign up for the program.
